I have a 99 XLT super cab and it does not have an overhead console in it. It looks like I would need to replace the visors as well if I put a OH console in. Has anyone doen this and where would be the best place to get one?

I always check my buddy at the salvage yard, he always has (or can get) the parts nobody has, I guess they are all in a big network to swap and trade stuff. Check a salvage yard in your area. Sometimes they are the "You Pick It" type (you go find it and take the part out yourself in the junkyard) .

I have a 01 F150 XL and a purchased a overhead console on ebay. I need help with hooking up wires to console to run the Nav system, Out side temp and what ever else it does. The console came out of a F150. My F150 XL doesn't the wiring. I need help with splicing the the six wires for the console to work.

 

i did one of these in a s10 blazer before, and i had to get a couple of sensors, just checking to make sure you had them. as to how to wire them, i dont have much of a clue. On the blazer, i remember 2 wires to a temp sensor and 2 more for power and ground. sorry I couldn't help much more than that.

you might look on ebay and try to find a wiring guide for the whole vehicle.
