Instrument cluster removal question

I've taken all of the necessary dash trim pieces off, and I've removed the four screws that hold the cluster in place. When I tried to remove the cluster, I noticed that it's held in place still by the gearshift indicator, which has some wires coming out the bottom.

How do you remove the gearshift indicator? Does it just pull out of the cluster from the bottom? Also, I know that there are two wiring harnesses connected to the back of the instrument cluster. Do these have to be unplugged, or once the gearshift indicator is removed can you pull the cluster out far enough to access the backside?

I only need to replace some burnt out bulbs...
