My 1998 supercab just developed a rattle in dash which sounds like it's coming from around the airbag area. I think I remember seeing some information on this site before about this problem.

I recall someone saying that the oval piece on top of the dash has to be removed to get to the item that is rattling.

Can someone summarize how to remove the oval piece and what to look for once it is removed?
