whats the best method to clean carpet

i have grey carpet and they get dirty quite a bit how to clean em real good?

Of course there is always a steam cleaner assuming you have one. One procedure that I have found to be effective is: vacuum well, spray Tuff Stuff over entire area to be cleaned, use a stiff bristled nylon brush along with a little water and scrub the carpet, dry with a towel. Don't be scared to use a little water this combination is effective. Tuff Stuff is good stuff and can be purchased most anywhere (Auto Zone, Checker, WalMart). If you have patches of carpet that are particularly dirty spray Tuff Stuff on fairly heavily and allow to sit for a couple of minutes and then scrub. This always works for me.

Try "Spot Shot" in the Orange & Blue can. Works well in the truck and in the house.

Always try on a small inconspicuous area first.
