I used 3M Plastic Polish P/n 051131 from Napa to take the fine scratches out that were already there. A soft cloth with distilled water on it to clean followed by 303 protectant. Make sure the cloths have not been used and picked up dirt.

I've been using Eagle One Plastic Polish for a few years and it has kept my window tint and guages, as well as anything else plastic in great shape. I think it actually fills in the scratches (if there are any) making them invisible. I actually bought my last bottle from a motorcycle dealer as it is great for use on helmet shields.
It also leaves some type of lubricant on the plastic surface that appears to reduce static. Great stuff.

Use a microfiber towel instead of paper towel with whatever your favorite glass cleaner is. I like Stoner's Invisible Glass.

I may be a little late on this one but...

You may want to consider Meguiars #17 & #18.

The Porche guys SWEAR by this stuff for cleaning a 'foggy looking' rear window on their cars... I've never tried it but, I have NEVER read anything bad about it...

Just another option to consider...

NAPA carries a product called PLEXUS, it is specialy made to clean and polish Plexiglas, Lexan, and Mylar (window tint). It does a good job of cleaning and removing small scratches. My son uses it on his SS mirrors, with the plastic mirror, and dash. It does a good job. Their web site is www.plexusplasticcleaner.com
