Diff between Lightning and Reg Seats?

I have the 60/40 seats in my 2000 XLT and would like some more support for taking corners. There are several SVT Lightning 60/40 seats in the classifieds and I was wondering, are the SVT seats the same as regular F150 seats? Is the 'rich corynthian leather' insert the only difference or are they more like performance seats?
Thanks

Fritz

I did a pic to pic comparison, and there's no difference other than the seat cover itself. The seat was improved in 99, the same year the second gen. Lightning was released. Be thankful you have a 99-up seat! I have a 98, and the factory seat was HORRIBLE! A flat bottom cushion and no side support whatsoever on the back rest. I just installed a 99 60/40 and the difference is night and day!,,,,98

Don't pay $1000 for the same seat

Actually, the lightning seat foam and shape is pretty different. It doesnt have bolsters as drastic as a 2001up f150 seat, but they are there.
