If you still have the piece, try getting some construction grade adhesive and attaching it back to the door panel. Since those plastic tabs are not load-bearing, that should be all you need. Other than that... door panels are about $250 if it really starts to get to you.

I've used this answer numerous times on numerous posts because I've had good luck solving a few problems with it...

Try the junkyard...

With the number of F-150s etc on the road today, there are plenty in the junkyards with excellent parts still remaining. Best of all, 99 times out of 100, the part will be considerably cheaper than going to the stealership.

If this is the tab that is part of the door...try the Plastifix.

Eastwood carries this stuff and when used corectly, it is great.
You can fabricate a new one with the molding bar that is included with it, and it would be as tough as the old one was.

With it being a tab on the inside fo the door, you could use any of the 3 colors that it comes in, without worry or paint it with interior paint from www.paintscratch.com.

Eastwood p/n:
black 40025 $29.95
White 40026 $29.95
clear 40027 $29.95

Might even be cheaper then buying the door panel from a junk yard.
