Going a different direction>>>Fog light mod part II
Ok I had originally hoped to be content with the type S XBLED fog lights....wrong I guess.
In my opinion they lack the foreground light that I would like to have
They're a great and all with unbelievable led output but it's not quite like the jwspeaker ones.
Onto what I've been playing around with....
Found these on the Internet....
Yes isn't the Internet wonderful....especially Google
Basically reusing my original adapter plates....and these housings that contain a mini h1 projector....note it is NOT a matchbox mini projector
I also left the cutoff shield in place a just cut the wires off the solenoid.
Some of you may notice now that there's no adjuster for up/down...well I figured that I can use washers to do this when I install them into the fog light mounts...ya it's going to be a PIA taking the mount off multiple times but I'm up to the task...lol
Now the really easy part is going to be clocking them....just a little set screw on the bottom.
And what I'm using for lighting power is some cheap innovited kit off of amazon with 3000k bulbs.
Here's some bench tests I did tonight...
When I get closer to being done I'm going to get better quality components from TRS.

Update.....got my TRS Morimoto xb stuff the other day
Testing them out....comparison shots taken with iPhone 5s, hdr off, auto exposure on.
5 minutes warm up time.
Looking at the lights innovited 3 on the left and Morimoto xb on the right....both 3000k bulbs
Both on the wall...innovited now on the right with the slanted cutoff and Morimoto on the left
Innovited alone
Morimoto xb....the camera exposed two different light colors in separate shots....stupid phone camera I guess
