I took apart my dash yesterda in order to fix cigar lighter, now my dash lights do not work should i look for plug ins, ground, or fuse? It is a 98 f150 5.4l. Thanks in advance.

 

Do you headlights come on with the headlight switch?

 

Yes, I found two blown fuses, one went to cigar lighter, other was one that turned the lights on chim. When I replaced the chim fuse, it fixed the dash lights and all other dash associated lights. Thanks for the assistance and trying to help me trouble shoot the issue, but yeah, I always had lights, just not the dash lights until replacing said fuse.
