If the LED bulbs generate heat is a question of design, not a given.
- Too many variables to give a call on this.
Took a quick search for them, found some from Canada on eBay.
They spec in at 900 lumen, where a standard 9145 is 80 lumen.
- 10 x XP-E which maxed out at 3.5W are 291 lumen each, so they are not running them at max.
The actual lumen output, the yellow will take away from the compare to a non yelow 9145, but with them bumped up that high, that could be a non issue.
- the Hoen all weather yellow H10 bulbs I put in my 2006 back when I 1st got it were crap, but that was a 80 lumen clear to a 80 lumen ( or close ) yellow bulb.
At this point there is only 1 way to find out, give them a try and report back.
If you can find a lumen meter, that would be very helpful in getting some real world info on them.

You will not get a 50 watt LED. You will get an LED which is equal to a 50 watt halogen. A 50 watt LED will blind. The LED will most likely draw 1 amp, or 2 amp at most. Typical drop-in LED head lamp mods will be less than 12 watt on your 12 volt system.
