Fog LED's

I've got a 2013 fx4 and am looking for a good set of led foglights to better match the factory hid headlights. I like the idea of using led's since they have low wattage, dont get too hot, etc. Any suggestions?

Check out these options from PIAA. I not too sure on the sizing, but i can report that they do have great output and a great beam. They are 6000k. I have installed these on a customers vehicle and thru were actually brighter thay their factory (2006 Pontiac Montana) headlights

OP, while LEDs would be to a closer color to HIDs, they won't be exact, as each LED die and each HID capsule will vary color, even if they are advertised the same wavelength. I have 5000K HIDs in my truck with 5000K switchback LEDs. The LEDs are much bluer and you can tell instantly. It is the nature of the color rendering- white LEDs are really blue LEDs with a tad bit of phosphor to shift some of the light output higher into the color spectrum.

Keep in mind lumens and candlepower aren't the same thing. 2x 3W LEDs (its nice how they won't advertise what LEDs they use...) would be lucky to reach over 900-1000lm each versus the stock 1400lm of an H11 halogen bulb. However, the headlamps have a MUCH farther spread since they must meet DOT specs whilst the LS530s have only a 70* optics angle, thus giving the "brighter" appearance.

I'm not saying they are bad (I have, however, read some negative reviews on them failing...) I was just pointing out the difference. But in all fairness, PIAAs are mainly chinese lights in which you are paying for a name. Most LED lights all use the same LED, and can be had for under $200. Here is a better performing light, for a lot less money:

https://www.teslaleds.com/default.aspx

It has 4x overdriven 5000K Cree XM-Ls (which I have personally used and love) and its giving you 2-3x the output of those PIAAs. Although the housing itself it ugly, it just drives the point that you need to shop around a bit and explore your options.

Secondly, 6000K LEDs versus 4300K HIDs would be like a blue marker on a yellow piece of paper.
