What is the easiest way to removal the reflector bowl from the headlight assembly on the 2004-2008 MY?

 

12 GA. LOL sorry. try a search on HID retrofit. I bet you will find your answer. Someone will help. Good luck

 

I've searched it before but the only thing that came up was it's not easy, but didn't explain how it's done.

 

If your talking about removing the headlight bowl there's a member in this great write-up that did it and explained how he removed it. You'll have to read through the whole thread to find it though.

I think most people, I included, left it attached. Made it easier for me to work with and during the alignment. Good luck.

I took mine out. It was not easy, and I thought it may break. Pretty much I just pulled on it really hard until the ***** popped out of their sockets.

 

I'm currently in the process of doing a retrofit with the fx-r kit. I left my reflector bowls in while trimming it out. Haven't had any problems with leaving it in there.

 

They're a beotch......go careful and remove slowly....

 

I think I may just leave them in there unless the second headlight will work with me. The first one was a PITA.
