Tonight on my way home the instrument cluster lights went out, then came back on. The lights around the HVAC, turn signals, high beams, radio, etc all work. I checked the manual looking for a possible blown fuse but didn't find any fuse related to the cluster lighting, nor any that were out. My truck is a 01 Lightning. Thanks.

 

Did they only do it that once? If it was a blown fuse, they wouldn't come back on. Maybe the connections on the back of the cluster are loose, but then the cluster's operation would be affected since they're all on the same ribbon.

If it happens again, I'd pull the cluster out to see any obvious signs. Otherwise, ignore it.
