2007 F-150 Headlight Adjusting??
2007 F-150 Headlight Adjusting??
I just put a set of DDM Tuning HID's 8K 55W in my truck (my third set...) and noticed that the right light is aimed much lower than the left...they are kind of all over the place...is there any way to adjust the headlights themselves?
Put your industrial strength flame suit on !!...This form pretty much will give you the same info, get those kits out of the headlights, save your money and get a proper retro-fit with projectors done. To answer your question, the only adjustment is by the small screw on top, up and down only.

Well, when you are caught up in a lawsuit over blinding someone and putting them off the road causing injuries, you might just consider you should have left them alone. And, yes, you was turning the proper adjusting screw (small hex head). If it does nothing, then it could be broken on the inside of the reflector assembly and the unit will have to come apart, or replaced. You have been advised.

First off, quit thinking that projectors are expensive. You can get some online for as little as $50.
Secondly, putting a HID bulb in a halogen reflector is going to throw the light everywhere, as you can see. There is no fixing this- I highly suggest you go back to halogens. That is, unless you are too "cool"
Lastly, if you think you can see better with 8000K (you're only putting out maybe 850 lumens with those things) versus halogens in a HALOGEN reflector, you are mistaken! Tell me how those high beams work for you

If you want to save yourself some money, go back to halogens and drive around with your brights on. Essentially that's what you're doing with hid's in a halogen reflector anyway.
