Lingering Cabin Lights.

The cabin lights in my 2005 F150 stay on until the ignition switch is turned on. After turning off the ignition switch and leaving the truck, the cabin lights stay on for about 30 seconds. If I turn off the truck but stay in the truck the cabin lights stay on for about 30 seconds. I've been thru the F150 Manual I downloaded from Ford.com page by page several times over the past year or so but I can find nothing that addresses whether or not the cabin light delay can be changed by the operator. I would like to revert to the good ol days - door open, lights on; door closed - lights off. If anyone knows if such is possible I would greatly appreciate any advice any would care to share where a procedure for changing the cabin light activation may be found. Thanks, K.
