hella help ASAP
Ok im out working on my truck right now putting new aux lights in. thats done now i have my old hellas that are mounted behind my grill that just stopped working about two weeks ago. the switch is turning on but the lights are not. i can hear the rely trying to kick in but nothing. i checked and even replaced the fuses. i did replace the 55w bulbs with 100w bulbs if that make a difference.

How did you verify the switch is working ?
- You should be able to meter the power to the relay coil, and get + VDC when the switch is on, and 0 VDC when the switch is off.
- Terminal #30 should have + VDC at all times.
- When you turn the switch on, terminal #87 should have +VDC and when the switch is off, 0 VDC.
How did you check the fuses ?
- Use a meter or the pull and stare method ?
Upgrading the bulbs without at least checking the wiring and relay can be a cause, you are increasing the AMP draw by 95%.
- This means you might have burned up the relay if it was just sized to run the 55W bulbs.
