Now Headlights, A Few Questions.

So I finally got my headlights installed. Heres a couple pictures. I also added Philips H1 and H3 CrystalVision Ultra Headlight Bulbs into it. Not to impressed with the light bulbs though, light out put is not to great...

Have you had the lights with the old bulbs? Output isn't going to be great because first its a cheap headlight and secondly, those bulbs are meant for fog lamps. They are more style than functionality. Real headlamp bulbs are like 9006, H13, 9007, 9012, etc. H1 and H3 are tiny fog lamp bulbs.

I had got these headlights as a present for my birthday and if i would of knew that they were h1 and h3 i would not of got them. Is there any other bulbs I can put in the place of these? Also, even though I am against it, will hids make any difference?
