The one in the 2nd pic on the headlight switch panel is what I did. Any more I install will be under the heater controls like the 1st pic.

I assume you had to drill into the dashboard (besides the switch panel) to make fit? This was my problem/hurdle, when I installed on the headlight switch panel...unless I wanted it right next to the headlight turn switch.

I took that panel off and drilled the hole into it. I try to choose smaller panels that would not be hard to find if I was going to sell the truck but keep the toggle or whatever. In my 04 heritage I put 2 toggles in my fuse box panel.

Did you have to drill out the dash to get this rocker to fit ? I drilled out a hole to install a similar if not identical rocker switch and am having clearance issues with the dash. Right now I'm reluctant to touch the dash.

Mine fit perfect afterwards. Only difference was the rocker is upside down compared to mine. You will want the led pointing down when lit because it's bright and annoying. I didn't have to touch the dash at all. The panel does take a little roughness to get it back in but not a ton of force.

I need to get into the truck with a camera and take photo of mine. I used the plate the lighter socket is in, on my XLT the lighter socket is dead center, so the 2 outer positions get a rocker switch, one for the fog lights up front, the other for the reverse accessory lights.

That's the route I would go if I added more toggles for stuff. I think you can fit 2 per side.

I just did one on my ram today. Installed an extra toggle for later.
