Whelen Hide-a-ways

Any have a picture of where they drilled for the hole if you put whelen hide-a-ways in the reverse lights for the rear? its a tight fit on my 03. I want to put two to the head lights and two in the reverse lights.

They are not the same as the 07s.

From the work trucks I have seen around here, they drill them from the bottom of the reverse light housing.

That wouldn't be a problem. The incandescent bulb gets hotter than the strobe does, and even then the heat transfer from one to another isn't anywhere near hot enough to worry about anything. You're only problem would be them bumping while going down a road. My road department uses them in 97-03 reverse lights so I know its possible, just look very carefully.
