Hey All,I was searching around the site but i cant seem to locate exactly what i'm looking for(i'm pretty sure I have seen the mods here).I'm interested in swapping my factory XLT mirrors for some power fold ones with the led turn signal and the other mod is installing factory fog lights on my truck which it didn't come equipped with.I can get all the parts off LMC Truck such as the bumper,fogs,wire harness and dash switches,mirrors etc,what I need is if someone can give me links to these exact mods on this site or others,I would really love to get these Mods done.

And my truck is a 2006 F150 SCrew XLT

 

Well after a couple of hours searching I found an excellent guide for the mirrors but still no luck on the Fog light install,can anyone give some advice or links please?

Or can i just splice the fog light harness + and - wires into the parking lights + and - wires?

I wouldn't splice into the parking light harness. It's not meant to carry that much current. If you really want foglights, get a wiring kit. I don't own your model truck, so I don't know if Ford continued to install some or all of the factory foglight fuse and wiring harness during assembly. I know that on my 97 XLT, all I needed for foglights was the correct headlight switch.

 

You don't want to pull an additional 10 amperes through an 18AWG wire only meant for 5 amps. Here is a basic relay-type wiring diagram for fog lamps:
