Spyder LED's

OK I am getting some replace lights for my truck in a smoke color and want LED's rather then the standard. I have seen prices ranging from $70-$175 for just the 3rd brake light and bigger areas for other lights. Spyder seems to be a nice light but it is always coming up cheaper then others. Has anyone purchased spyder lights before and have you been happy with the quality or is there another brand I should be looking into.

Thank you

I have some Spyder lights and they are horrible. I ended up replacing them with my own LED array. The Spyder lights were dim and didn't fit right.

Yea not the best quality ever, mine aren't nearly as bright as I expected. And if you go that route you'll need a tridon ep27 flasher relay too to get rid of hyper flash.

Yeah I can put LEDs in OEM tails and black them out. Basically LED Harleys.

I will look into that not a bad idea except still need to replace the third brake light as it is leaking.

I have spyder heads and tails. Good enough for me. Sealed pretty good, no condensation. The tails fit like they were ment to be. The heads could be a little more tight but they still fit great.
