PIAA 1500 back up lights with Rear exit exhaust??

Just as the title says I just got PIAA 1500 back up lights for my B-Day and I have a rear exit Roush exhaust.

Where should I put them where do they look and perform the best? I searched and couldn't find anything

If they need to go on the outer of the bumper (path of the wheel) I was considering making an aluminum shield so they don't get the direct wheel wash and rock hits.

Anybody got pictures as well??

Pic 2 is pretty cool but couldn't hack up my bumper to do that unless I had a spare to put on.

I am debating using a pair of these and some Hella equipment lights.

Or taking a 4in hole saw to my rear bumper and installing these.

And while I have the bumper off I would paint my hitch and maybe coat the front and rear bumper in spray on bedliner and do my running boards at the same time but I have not decided yet. I have a few projects I need to wrap up before I start any more.

Gotta see how much a bumper is but I'll show you why I can't do that first set up with the brackets.

You are right the brackets won't work with your exhaust set up. How much metal is under the step under the license plate?

There should be plenty of choices between the two pipes......

Make some brackets if you need to....

I like the holesaw to the bumper idea and mounting some round lights flush in there. Would look pretty clean. I have been thinking about doing that ever since I got my F150.

Found that if I swap the bracket around it will push the light out far enough from the hitch that I can mount them to the hitch!

Can't Wait I cant see crap with my tints haha

They are actually aimed pretty low, not with the bumper, but if someone was behind the truck they get lit up pretty good. There is a couple more pictures in my album of the output (only crappy cell phone pics).
