Headlight Lens Restoration

This really belongs in the Care & Detailing section, but I like our new sub-forum better, so here goes:

The car is my parents 2006 Toyota Solara SE. 3" Valeo halogen projectors with a Fresnel lens, and 1100lm H11 low beam, 2000lm 9005 high beam. Over the years the lenses have become highly oxidized and since I'm driving this to and from school at night, I spent the $32 on the Meguairs Pro kit and did the lenses.

$32.26 at O'Reillys:

This is the output of the low beams:

High beams:

Drivers side:

Beginning the work:

After 1000 grit:

After 3000 grit and drill polishing:

Like-new output!

High beams (I only did the drivers side, so I can get daytime comparison shots)

Still dirty pax side:

More pics in the morning after my parents crap themselves
