auxiliary switch panel

I have looked on here and serched the net for the aux panel that is used in the f250 and 350 trucks and have had no luck.
I have found where guys have made their own panels which look good but I would like to use either the one for the SD's or I do like the ones in the raptor's. Does anyone have any ideas of where to find outside of looking at the salvage yards?

I love them too. They even come with relays. The only place I can think of is a dealership unless you have luck online.

Where did you intend to mount them?

I am wanting to put them in that nook under the cig lighter. Right now its wasted space, not sure what that area is intended for so I think a switch panel would look good there.

Just not having much luck online. Either bite the bullet and buy from the dealer or find at the salvage I guess.

That does look good! Good luck finding one and please post if you find some! I'm interested in seeing this.

This is what I went with. They are Hella optilux 1450's 55w. I bought a set for the front and back. I was thinking of installing thones on the back onto the underside of the hitch to the tube steel whick would keep them sonewhat out of site and protected. I have a question though. The directions say that even if I hook these up to the reverse lights I still have to run them to the switch. Why? If their tied to the reverse lights they would just come on when put in reverse. Would this reason of having the switch also let me turn them on while not in reverse?

Why not use something like this?

I have the out fitter switches in my F350 and I like them but I added another switch box to accomadate everything that I run. I have added legends and cleaned up the wires a little better since that pic was taken.

Those lights look like exactly like what I would like to put in my lower grille. Have you installed them yet? I am also keeping up with this thread because I am looking for places and ways to mount switches in my truck. Looking forward to seeing members' ideas!

The real reason is that there's enough amperage to require running a relay to trigger the lights. You don't absolutely have to run a switch, but you really do want to run a relay. You can trigger the relay with the reverse lights though.

I recently found the switches that are in the f250-350. They are called upfitter and to me are quite expensive for my taste. But they would look cool.
I am looking at installing them in a couple of weeks and will post some pics of the install.

2stroked- Thanks for the info. So by hooking these up the way the directions show I can run them when put in reverse or with the switch?

Just an FYI about the upfitter switches 1&2 are 25 amp and 3&4 are only 10 amp.

Looking forward to it. I have also looked at Upfitter Switches, but, as you said, they are not cheap compared to just drilling and putting in a rocker switch. They would look great in the space under the cig lighter, and it would probably be pretty easy for someone to make a bracket/panel to fill up the space the upfitters don't fill.
