v-led new fogs
#17
And I disagree Powerz69. In very very dense fog my HIDs just reflect off of it creating a wall of light, even with the retrofit. In the dense fog I turn the HIDs off and run with the silverstar 9005 fogs on only. Works wonders and performs far better than the HIDs, believe it or not.
Well thats good to know! Not much fog up here, but I would have thought the cutoff would make a huge difference.

No seriously, I seen when it was in the making. So thats what it looks like now. I'd like to see how they fit. I like how they went with a large halo vent.
EDIT: We will give Darkshadow his thread back when they come out with a 5K version.

Well I got tired of waiting for the 5K and called v-led. They said it's a new product with no plans to make it in a 5K yet. If the 6K takes off they will expand it to a 5K. Or if enough people email/call them requesting a 5K they will do it. The 6K version link below.

Well, you obvioulsy don't know where to buy leds or know how to solder, would cost about $15 if you bought expensive leds and at most half an hour per bulb

$12.95 x 15 LEDs = $194.25

i dont know if i would put different types of leds in them, just replace them with PLCC-2 surface mounts like they come with, from oznium for $.49 each but honestly that is way over priced. you can get a 50 pack osram plcc-2's for $1 on ebay
price is not a good way to judge an led, it is actually very hard to make a bad led so even cheap ones off ebay would be fine, but like i said you can get 50 osrams for $1
