I installed my smoked headlights for a 2008 FX2 F150 today. Everything worked out fine and it looks great. I want to install LED Signal and Parking Signal bulbs in my headlight.

I found the website www.superbrightleds.com and their LED lights are not expensive at all. I wanted to see if anyone ordered from these guys? How are the LED light bulbs from them?

Can someone confirm that I chose the correct ones?

Backup Lights
WLED-x4-x: 4 LED Wedge Base Bulb
Options: WLED-A4-90: Amber Wide

Signal Lights - Front
1157-x24: 24-LED BAY15D bulb
Options: 1157-A24-WV: 1157 Amber 100 Degree

Parking Lights - Front
3157-x25: 25-LED 16mm Wedge Base 3157 Bulb

 

Why would you want amber in your reverse lights?

The second one is incorrect. The 1157 is a metal twist base used in older cars. I'm not sure what the difference between the two are on your 11th gen, but the front turn signal/parking light should be 3157 and the little light behind your reflector is a 197 I want to say.

But superbrightleds is a GREAT website. I order from them all the time. 5/5.

 

you need:

reverse: 3156 white to be useful (you can chose any color you wish)

front park/turn: 3157 amber

front side marker (behind reflector): 194 amber

I've seen these Putco LED's which are pretty expensive compared to others. Is it better to get these LED's? or if I get a pair of Amazon.com for half the price?

I have another question.... I've ordered these smoked headlights with chrome housing and they look nice on my FX2, but I see a few other members who have the same style of headlights but their smoke is not that dark. I was not able to find them online. Do you have a few links up ur sleeve, where i might be able to find them with a lighter smoke. Thanks

p.s.: It supposed to bright white for the Reverse bulb....sorry
