Dome light isn't coming on

The dome light isn't coming on when I open the drivers door, but does come on when the passenger door is opened.
There is no buzzer letting you know the keys are still in the ignition, and the red safety light in the door itself (driver side) only works when the key fob is used
This is a 2002 F150.
ANy Ideas?

Did you check fuses?

I have not checked the fuses, because the dome light comes on when the passenger door is opened, but not when the driver’s door is opened. Is there a switch that activates these lights when the door opens?
If so, how do you get to it?
Thanks

It is most likely the door ajar switch. I'm not sure where it is located.
