Help!

I have run into a problem when installing my led 3rd brake light assembly on my 2000 f150. I followed all instructions and when i got to the part about pulling out the grey power connector, i pulled and the connector disconnetted and i cant find the end that is connected to the truck. I am looking through a small hole and all i see is some metal and i see no power connecter where the wires were originally running to. I have to admit i am kinda embarrssed and any help on how to find the connector or what to do would be very much appreciated. Thank you

I'm kind of confused about whats going on. So you removed the two screws, pulled out the lamp, and disconnected the lamp, what else? If it fell in the hole you'd have to reach in there to pull it out.

I did all that and when I disconnected the power connector I lost the truck end. My only problem is i am trying to retrieve the connection and it's about a 2 inch diameter hole I have to work through making it near impossible

Probably gonna have to pull the headliner down and fish it back through.

Alright. That's not too hard is it? I've never had to do anything with my headliner so I'm not really sure what to even do with that. Do you guys have any instructions to pull it down enough to fix my light and then glue it back up? And if I can do that without taking down the whole thing
