06 HIDs

Looking at getting HIDs for my 2006 f150. Want the High and Low Beams. I have seen it in one bulb but i cant find the kit anywhere online. i have been looking at xentec but have only been able to find the low beam kit not the bulb that does both. any ideas?

You need to look for a bi-xenon kit. The bulb moves to mimic a high and low beam. Shouldn't be hard to find one.

Unless you're looking for one of the kits that has an HID low, and a halogen high beam. Don't use that, unless you don't need usable high beams. They put the halogen in there for people who need to pass state inspections, so that you may FTP (flash to pass). The halogen is what out of the focal point (more so than the HID hi beam ), and isn't very bright...

you also need to not use xentec. just my opinion. go with retro-solutions.com or somewhere more reputable and carries better product. when i order stuff for people i give them two options: better price (something like xentec) or better performance (something like retro-solutions). most of the cheaper kits work fine at first but crap out later down the road and all the ones from retro-solutions are still running strong except one ballast which i had a their lifetime warranty so it was easy to get a replacement. just my two cents. take it as you want.. and stay away from 55W

While I agree on the price versus reliability, I have had Xentecs for a few years with no problems. Of the 5 PnP kits I have laying in my closet, the Xentecs are the only ones that still fire up.

And please stick with 35W. 55W is stupid
