haha i always thought the white shut off and then the amber started and i didnt wanna pay 70 at that time for something i wasnt sold on. then i seen the ones that switched back and forth and got em for 55. what'r you thinkin? 50, 60, possibly even 65 dollar finders fee?? lol so far none of them have ponied up the money for em but they also drive 95-98 chevies so they would need 4 of em! lol thats some serious money for just turn signal bulbs! lol

So, um back to the real topic, have you found red fogs yet? lol

What's wrong with the type 2s? I like them better actually, pretty cool watching the reflection of them fade in while behind other vehicles.

nope. i just gave up. lol i'll try to make a video of mine tomorrow. with all this snow its one dirty truck. idk but for some reason i just like how the type 1's perform over the type 2's. dont get me wrong, both of them are sick. i just happen to prefer type 1's. i do like how the type twos fade when they switch. i think mine are just instant on when i first turn em on..

but if i ever stumble across some red fogs i'll let ya know. lol i may try to order another set of red hid bulbs and see how they turn out...

Did you guys have to add a resistor to the switchback or just plug and play?

you'll need a resistor. shadowstx always mentions something about a relay that will eliminate the need for a resistor. may wanna contact him. i know he's posted a few times but since i already resistors in place it wasnt worth purchasing the relay.

I replaced the flasher, didn't have to mess with resistors. Plus, if you change out the tails, you are already set.

The flasher I bought was the Tridon EP-27. It was around $10, really easy to install.

thats exactly them! i had already installed led turn signals before i knew about this and my leds tails had built in resistors so theres really no need for one now. but if you do use resistors its easy to install, the relay is probably alot better though.

Rednoved beat me to it. I'm not online all day every day. lol
Tridon EP-27 from Advance Auto Parts does the trick http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...ci_sku=5060001
Can also get them at Vleds.com http://www.v-leds.com/BlinkerWarning...-p4810389.html

You have a higher post per day average than me!

If you don't want to order it online, many auto stores carry them. I got mine at Pep Boys and the AutoZone also stocked them.

They don't exist Topland. I've looked everywhere. Even if some ricer site had them, they wouldn't be in the H10 size anyway.

i thought about finding some red strobe lights and finding a way to make them come on a stay on instead of strobbing but not really wanting to mess with it now. lol maybe a good idea if somebody wanted them pretty bad. i know gorecon.com sells just two red xenon strobes without a controller or anything and you could possibly make them work. who knows.. lol
