maybe your bulbs? i had a set of silverstars that were perfect on low beam, but for the high beams one went down and one went up. i just chunked em and got new ones and they work properly

Can you post pictures of your headlights and the beam? If you have the bulb locked in properly (the flat side of the bulb should be on the bottom), there shouldn't be any problem unless you don't have all three aiming pins locked in properly

southern, go take som pictures and upload them either to your album here on the site or a free photo sharing site (i use photobucket.com) and just post the link here with [img] and [/.img] tags to enable the photo.

It sounds more and more like you do not have the aiming screws adjusted properly. Be sure to include a picture of the two mounting brackets

well it seems your bulbs are really dim unless its just me. the headlights look normal (as for aftermarket fitment). look where the two locking tabs are and look to see if all three prongs are locked. if you have a tiny 4mm, you can adjust them. post high beams if you can

Is that an accurate representation of the color and brightness?

If possible, setting your white balance, and possibly taking a picture in night mode (leave the shutter open longer). You might have to set it on the hood to get a steady shot, and turn the timer on so it doesn't move from your pressing the shutter. That way the flash doesn't throw off the true brightness.

Do you have access to a wall to aim them properly? Or, you could do what my friend does and label a trash can with the proper height marked with tape. Then, take a person or a towel and cover each headlight (one at a time).

Yes right now I believe your lights aren't aimed properly. You should get the Lisle headlight adjustment tool for $20 and redo them

its a 4mm wratchet small enough to reach onto hooks on the back of the three headlight prongs and threads in/out to adjust up down or toe in/out
