Question Sss-ssss-sizzle of AC drip on heat shield

Water from the AC after the engine is shut off is now dripping somehow on the passenger side exhaust heat shield. It has not done this before. Anyone experience this before? I looked under the hood and crawled under the truck and could not find anything amiss. Where's the outlet for the condensed water from the AC? I looked on the firewall but couldn't find it. It has been very humid lately but this is the first time this has happened. Solutions or ideas? Merely an annoyance or indicative of a potential problem?

Yes and it was very annoying. I took it back to the dealer at about 8k miles and they rerouted the drain hose using what the writer said was a TSB. But I don't know the number of it

Thanks Y2kXLTSport

I've searched for a TSB for a 2000 year F150 Ext Cab but have not found one. If anyone has knowledge of a specific TSB, please kindly advise.

I would like to know the TSB # also. My 2002 does this also. My warranty will be out next summer, so I need to get it taken care of now. I took it to the dealer last week and they said it was normal and did nothing.

I don't remember the number but I just took my truck to the dealer, told them to listen and the service writer said "oh, there's a TSB to fix that".... she ordered the extension tubing and did the work in less than a day

Do this TSB also apply to the 2002 models?

My truck is a 2002. I took the truck in due to an A/C line freezing. Had the A/C system recharged and checked for leaks. Complained about the noise and they said everything was normal.

Is there a website where I can pull those and print them out?

I got those titles from NHTSA on a link from this site. You can pay NHTSA to run them and mail them to you or I think AllData has them, but it is a pay site also. Someone on here may be able to help but I don't have access to them.
