wiegh in charges...

are fine for complete system evacuation recharge,but for fine tuning a system,bringing as close to "real world" conditions as possible is neccessary. placing a high volume fan in front of the truck and running the inside fan on high is as close to "real world"as can be expected and will facilitate proper charging of the system.

'96 F150 Where is a/c low side valve?

Again, like everyone else says, take it in. Too much blows seals, too little and the comp. cycles on/off all day long. Plus, they give it a good going over, for the fee you have to pay regardless, won't just top up cuz you say so.

That is a recipe for disaster. just because walmart sells it doesn't make it a good idea. Actually walmart caters to the dumbest of the herd.
