Dual climate system trouble on 2011 F150
I have a 2011 F150 Lariat 4 door with the Ecoboost 6.
The interior has the map screen and dual climate control.
The Climate system is running into intermittent fail issues that have cold air on the drivers side and hot air on the passenger side. This happens sometimes but then keeps happening most of the time over the last few weeks. The mysteriously it would be ok again. Usually the next day. It is happening more often now often enough to be real trouble.
I have gotten it to reset and work properly by turning the system off for more then 5 minuets then turning it back on using the top button for power rather than the button that has the climate icon. This does not work often, but it has.
I found a video to reset the climate control module that required pulling two fuses, running the engine for more then 2 minutes while changing the temperature controls, shutting down the engine, replace the fuses then start her back up. I did this and everything worked perfect for four days. Then failed again. The two fuses were for the AC and the Climate control module.
To me this suggests the damper doors are working properly and my reset process was maybe close but not completely correct.
I am hoping someone has done this with more success and offer some better thoughts.

My 2011 F150's dual climate system is giving me problems. Try as I might to change the settings, one side always blasts hot air while the other stays cold. Fuse and control checks were done, however the issue still exists. Looking for guidance or answers to get out of this annoying situation.GB Whatsapp
