Just bought f150 eco boost. A/c just stopped, nothing, then came on and was cold, then off and on and just off. Took into dealer said was Shorted resister, replaced. Drove home was perfect. Next morning same issue, took directly back and they checked and said all it was was pigtail, fixed and drove home, no problem. Drove p/u 2 more times and worked great, this morning nothing. Same as 1st time. No wind just nothing when I turned on. Drove back to dealer. They killed it and started back up and It came on. Anyone have any clues?

 

Year and model? Automatic or manual temperature control?

 

Airstream, I moved your thread to the HVAC section because I think you'll get better responses here than in the Intro section. Is your truck under warranty? If so, the dealership should fix it on their dime.

Do you possibly have a problem with rats, mice or other rodents like squirrels? They like to get into the engine compartment and chew wires. I had a malfunctioning A/C once that was caused by packrat damage.
