No heat or air. Stupid title, I know.

Hi everyone. 2013 Ford F-150 Platinum, 3.5L Ecoboost. AC/heat is automatic not manual. Was hoping someone could help me out before I go completely bald and certain parts shrivel up making my wife very unhappy. Have looked these forums multiple times and now my first post. First of all, I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO MECHANIC KNOWLEDGE AT ALL so layman’s terms would be greatly appreciated. Lol

Last summer, ac stopped working, after reading a few posts in here, I figured out it was the blower motor resistor. Bought a new one and noticed the plug was melted to the resistor. Of course, it was after the place closed, so my neighbor and I rigged it and boom, it worked. Now fast forward to roughly October. Had been hearing a clicking noise and my fan speed controls went out, stayed on low or if there is something below low, that’s where it stayed, very little heat unless I was driving and the faster I went, more heat came out. Again, after reading these posts, the clicking was the, I assumed, the blend door actuator either behind the radio or on the passenger floorboard. Replaced the one behind the radio and wouldn’t ya know it, the clicking came from the one on the passenger side. Replaced that, still no heat or even air and wouldn’t go above low.

Just replaced the blower motor resistor and the harness. Again, nothing, fan speed controls stay at low. I can hear the lower passenger side actuator turning but nothing else. Checked fuses, all seemed fine, even swapped them out with other fuses and still nothing. Any ideas? Appreciate any help.

You may want to take it to a shop.
