My ac doesnt blow cold and im going to pick up a shorter belt now after my asp crank pulley install.my question is can i remove the entire ac system without it effecting my heat? Maybe stupid question but i was able to remove the ac system from both 5.0 stangs (deent weight reduction) and cleared up engine bay , and i still had heat . Do i need to do anything to retain heat or can i just remove all ac components ? Cheers tia

 

You can probably remove most of it.

Please try to recover the refrigerant if it is still charged.
