Fan only turns on while dial is at Number 4

Hey guys,

I have a 2007 F-150 XLT. About a year ago the fan (hot or cold air) stopped blowing when the dial was turned to 1. No big deal, I could still use 2, 3, or 4 for air. A month ago, 2 stopped working... not the end of the world, I can live with using 3 or 4 for air.

This morning on the way to work I went to put on #3 for air and nothing... now I am stuck with either FULL POWER #4 or Nothing. Any ideas on the fix for this?

Thanks,
M125X

Check the blower resistor and its connector first.

My 2010 does not work on 1. Usually its the resistor. Will have dealer replace when I go for service soon. What I found in my 2000 model. The motor was rusted. Which prevented it to rotate smooth at slow speeds. Had to replace motor.
