AC/Heat Temperature Switch

Recently, my temperature switch was becoming harder to turn from hot to cold. Last week as I was turning the ****, it broke off in my hand. The stem that the **** sits on broke all the way down to the tip so I can't even use some needle-nose pliers to turn on the heat. Now it is stuck only in the cold mode.

How can I change out the **** without having to take out the whole dash to get to it?

Can I just purchase the know from the dealership and install it myself?

Thanks,

Davis

Yes, you can buy a replacement at the dealer and install it yourself. Once you get the part, you pull off the radio face-plate and you will have access to the rheostat.
