Hello, I have a 05 f150 fx4 that only blows air through the panel vents regardless of what is selected on the controller. I can hear what sounds like the actuator straining to move along with a creeking noise when trying to select a postion other that the panel vents. Can this be fixed without pulling the dash??? This is a center console truck with the power pedals... Thanks

 

at least your's is doing something. i'll run AC through vents for at least 3-5 minutes then try to switch to defrost and it don't switch. stealership replaced blend door act. #19E616 didn't help. going back in in two days. after i stop the engine, fire it back up it seems to switch. is the system designed to work this way? i'm going to try just running vents on with no AC if it switches then screw it i can live with it.
