Red face HVAC always blows HOT!!!!!!!!

I've posted this problem before and still haven't got it fixed. Anybody out there know late model Ford HVAC? Here goes......

99 f150 4.6 auto 4x4
Symptons:
Temp control **** has no effect on temp.
always blows full blown hot regardless of mode selector control **** setting (AC,panel, etc.) unless it is in the off position in which case it doesn't blow air.
AC comp.kicks on, pipes feel cold.
fuse #5 for actuator blend door looks OK.
I assume blend door isn't working right?
How do I test it? How do I get at it?
Most likely temp control **** or actuator motor or other?
HELP!!!
Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Just a follow up. Got truck back from the ford dealer today. Fixed air, blend door actuator motor door bad, $204.00 repair bill and grease on my carpet on my '99 f150. Those dealers are so damn expensive. They're merciless. Pretty sure I knew what was wrong with it but couldn't figure out how to get to it. Probably took them 15 minutes. I don't trust them. I always feel like I'm getting ripped off when I go there. But its done, air works, just wish I could get away with charging like that in my business.

Thumbs down

That's a common feeling. At least you got your carpet lubed for free.

WTF is HVAC? You problem sounds like mine. No matter what the **** is set at(a/c, vent, whatever) It always blows out the deforster area when I'm moving. Sometimes it even blows out of there when I'm stopped. I was thinking it was a vacuum problem.
