The incoming air temperature never varys from full blown hot irregardless of the position of the temp. control **** or whether the heater is set on heat, a.c., or vent. The only thing that makes it quit putting out hot air is turning the system to off. I am really worried about taking it to a garage as I think it could be easily diagnosed from these symptons IF one was familiar with it. I assume the blend door isn't moving. But am not sure where to start looking. Any input would be appreciated!

look at the actuator switch behind the glove box area under the dash... a real pain to get to...it triggers the air blending door form air/ heat.. it may be best to take to "dealership land" where anything is possible,

Thanks Nick! I'll give that a try, at least I know where to start looking. If it gets to tough I'll probably end up taking it to "dealership land, where anything is possible" (for a price)! I always worry about, (with an obscure thing like this, and taing it to a dealership), that they have to have just the right indvidual that is familiar with this specific problem, otherwise you end up spending lots of money having the wrong person fish around looking for the problem when the right person would know in an instant.

thanks longbox, and good luck, i have had my share of "go rounds" in dealership land, regarding the a/c on my super crew, we finally seem to have gotten it repaired.. warranty though... let us know how you fare..!
