Strange pressure release
Another Strange one out of my Ford's bag of tricks:
When I turn the A/C on and the compressor engages, there is this loud pressure release from under the hood and a gaseous odor comes thru the vents. Service Dept finds no problems and can't duplicate. Errrrrr ! Effectively, I have no A/C because I will not run the A/C without knowing what this smell is (don't know what I am breathing). The problem is intermittent and (of coarse) she seems to do it on hotter days (85+)
