Its either ice or fire
no it does not
I believe I have the same problem, the blend door. It will either stay very hot, even when dial is set at cool. I have noticed when turning the temp dial I get a squeaking sound, sometimes it does it on its own, sounds literally like a rusty hinge. But then I thought it might be something got wet somehow, because right below is my parking assist off button, and the parking assist doesn't work either now, it automatically turns off when I put the truck in reverse...
Oh yeah, it's an '08...all this trouble on a new ride...

Can someone PLEASE either post a link or at least the part number for the actuator on a 2006 F-150 SCrew 5.4L? I've googled my tail off, and I can't come up with one for anything newer than a 2003/2004 Heritage.

Having the service done tomorrow. Had the truck in today for that and faulty rev. sensor but didn't have time for both. So reverse sensor replaced ($249...$147.90 for sensor, $102 for labor...guess they got the full hour to unplug the bad one, plug in a new one), and tomorrow it goes in for the blend door actuator. $191.81 P/L. Oh, and while it was in, I was informed my upper arms are lose and need replacing soon...$694 P/L. All this for an '08 with 50k on it
On the bright side, I'm just gonna have them do the upper arms and coil spacers at once while they're being replaced. I was also informed that with a 2.5" spacer, 35x12.5s Toyo A/Ts will fit the stock 18" 5 spokes with minimal if no rubbing...(probably should be another thread but I was on a roll).
