Exclamation A/C Fluid leaking (green)??

Hey guys,
Yesterday i got home from work, parked the truck (2004 F150 Scab XLT) in the driveway, came back out 2 hours later and there was a big puddle underneathe my truck. The fluid was bright (neon) green, and had a definate oily feel to it. The anitfreeze in my truck is yellowish/orange, so i dont think it is antifreeze, however it is that same green color that antifreeze used to be. The leak seems to be coming from a small black canister (about the size of a large soup can) that is mounted just in front of the fire wall on the passenger side, and has A/C lines running in and out of it.
This fluid was/is bright green, and feels slippery and viscous like some sort of oil. Any body want to venture a guess as to what it is?
Thanks a million!
Scooter

Your suspicions are correct.

Your A/C system has been breeched. Your refrigerant has leaked out along with the oil and dye.

Sounds like you'll need a new accumulator, a system vacuum, and a lube/recharge.

Thanks for the reply,
It turns out that it was a rub through in the aluminum line that runs to (or from) the condensor. It hasnt been fixed yet, but it has been diagnosed and should come in around $200, which i think is pretty lucky based on my first impression when i seen the big puddle of neon green!
Thanks again
