A/c Clutch question??

I took off the serpentine belt and when the pulley dropped half of an inch I bought another pulley and bearing. I know that the clutch is electro magnetic but I was kind of expecting some sort of material on the back side of the clutch(never had on apart before), but there wasnt it looks ot be metal on metal??? IS that correct? I just want to be sure that there wasnt more to it before the pulley started flopping all around.
THanks

The clutch is metallic.

Make certain you properly set the gap to spec.

I was wxpecting something different. IT looks very similar to the pulley.
I put the original shims back in. Do you know the spec measurement?
Thanks.
It does seem to be dragging slightly, but I only ran it for a few seconds. I assumed it was because of the new pulley and the old clutch disk

Specs are in the captions, and it's almost the same for all types.
