I am installing a new stereo in my 2002 F-150 King Ranch and I have scratched the Automatic Climate Control Module Under the stereo. I scratched the face of it pretty bad.

Does anyone know how much a new control module would cost? How hard is the procedure to replace the old one with a new one?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Changing it is just about as easy as replacing the radio itself..
just remove the bezel around the radio and take out the (4) 7mm or 9/32 screws. Disconnect wiring harness and vacuum harness..
Then of course reconnect everything.. & that's it!!
The cost is overwhelming.. about $400.00 last time I priced one.

I was wondering if it's possible to replace the manual climate control module in my 2001 F-150 Super Crew with a digital one from the same year group that was used in I think the Lariat or even the Expedition? I went to ford today and the said it's a lot more involved than just replacing the head unit? Any info is appreciated. Thank you.

 

To "clean up" the scratches,try rubbing compound(with a mild abrasive)in it.
