A/C on 2005 F150

Guys if you really like your truck find an independent A/C shop to set it up well. An evac & recharge should not cost over $140 unless there are needs for parts etc. and when it gets recharged any good A/C person will add dye so any future leak is easily found. I know there is a warranty, but if they won't fix it, you can make a small investment to avoid changing vehicles.

For those that are interested, I took my truck in to the dealer for the A/C, they evac'd, replaced orings and recharged my system and now the air is nice and cold. Maybe the air wasn't as bad as what I thought, I recommend to everyone who doesn't like the temp of their air to go to the dealer if you are still under warranty.

The machanic at Ford told me that these a/c systems arent the best. But I get into my wifes 05 Tahoe and you will freeze your nuts off.
