I drive a 1989 F150 2wd with a 5.0L I have been having issues with my A/C. If I turn it on while my truck is in Park or Neutral, it causes the truck to cut off. It works fine if the truck is in gear. I did seem to notice a loud click under the hood when I switch it on in park. Other than this, it seems to run fine.


Any ideas on what it could be?
