Do I need a compressor or just the clutch?

My first post. Please...be gentle.
97' F150 4.6

The clutch was rattling so I removed the center bolt and the pully slipped right off. It seems that it's sheared off. Can someone tell from the pics what my next step is? New compressor or can I get by with a clutch? Can the compressor be temporarily bypassed and if so what size belt would work? I can see the tensioner will only work with the original belt and the compressor attached. Funds are limited at this time so any help would be great.

Looks like you need a clutch. When you replace it, make sure you get the air gap set correctly.

Thanks for the reply Yankee. I took these pictures to an a/c place today and was told that the nosing of the compressor had sheared off. He said it's a very rare occurance. So I picked up a new one and I have it mounted but not connected yet (I got rained out). I've learned the hard way that when the clutch starts rattling or grinding you don't want to wait too long to replace it.
